If you're a Victorian secondary school teacher, recognise your students efforts by nominating them for a Victorian Government scholarship.
The program helps young people complete years 11 and 12 at a Government State School or TAFE. The scholarship is valued at $1,100.
The scholarship can be used to pay for a range of items including:
- School or TAFE fees
- Computer equipment
- Public transport costs.
The money can also go towards the cost of disability aids and child care.
The eligibility criteria includes:
- Being under 21 years old at 1 February 2024
- Studying years 11 or 12 at a Victorian Government school or the equivalent at TAFE in 2024
- Having support from a staff member like a counsellor or a wellbeing coordinator.
Victorian Government secondary school teachers and TAFE staff have to nominate eligible students for the scholarship.
