Towards Home
Towards Home is a $9.8 million initiative to help people who are sleeping rough in inner Melbourne by giving them:
- somewhere to live
- targeted support to help them keep their home.
30 new modular homes (like movable units) will be built on five sites in Melbourne.

Valley Park redevelopment
Valley Park redevelopment is a 12-year project to redevelop The Mews public housing estate in Westmeadows.
When it is finished, there will be 145 social housing units, a 90-bed aged care facility and 209 homes for private sale.
The project is due to end in 2020.

Carlton housing redevelopment
This nine-stage urban renewal and community development project stared in September 2009.
Most stages have been finished and 246 public housing units have been built.
The project is due to end in November 2020.
