Public Housing Policy and Procedure Manuals
Office of Housing policies and procedures are set out in the manuals below.
Each manual covers a relevant area of public housing, and may need to be referred to in conjunction with other Office of Housing manuals, the appropriate Acts of legislation and/or document. This is to ensure that the intent of the policy is achieved when administering procedures. For example, the policies and procedures that apply to a client who has caused damage to his property are covered in both the Maintenance and Debt Management Policy and Procedures manuals.
Chapters
Each chapter within a Manual is divided into two sections, Policy and Procedures. The Policy section describes the guidelines and requirements that determine the extent to which the Office of Housing delivers housing services within departmental and legislative boundaries. The method of implementing these housing services is described in the Procedures section of the chapter.

This table contains a history of the development of the manual and all the changes that have been made to it.
