In the midst of an economic crisis, housing affordability remains at the forefront of challenges affecting Australians.  In many cases, the lack of affordable housing has a detrimental effect on the development of a vibrant community, the local economy and industry. With forecasts indicating a housing deficit of up to 250,000 by mid 2010, the need for comprehensive solutions and a collaborative approach is warranted.
