Transferring

If your situation changes and your home isn't suitable any more, you can apply to transfer to another home by completing the General Public Housing Application form. You may also be able to apply for a transfer under Special Housing Needs.

The properties in each area are listed in the Statewide Broadband Waiting Lists. 

The waiting times for transferring are different depending on your needs, the type of house you want and where you want to live. The Public Housing Waiting and Transfering list will give you an indication of waiting times in your preferred area.

If you should secure other accommodation while you are on the waiting list, you need to advise the Office of Housing that you no longer need the transfer.

If you need to transfer out of your home urgently, contact your local housing office before you actually do so to discuss your needs and available accommodation options.
