Building projects

The Victorian government is determined to make public housing a more desirable place to live, with improved amenities and access to social networks.

We are designing innovative and liveable dwellings that are high quality and cost effective.

Our designs are cost-efficient to build and to live in—with low ongoing maintenance and living costs for tenants.

Environmental sustainability

Since 2001, we’ve constructed properties to meet a 5-star energy rating, and since July 2005, incorporating the provision of solar hot water. Find out more about environmentally sustainable designs.
